 Duluth East Senior High School Class of 1965 - Reunions
Welcome to our class reunion page. Here you will find information about upcoming reunions as well as pictures from our past reunions. Reunion Information Greetings Classmates! Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters�- our family, our friends, and the ties we have with those people who mean so much to us those people who were by our side from our early childhood to the time when we considered ourselves young adults! Some of us actually stayed in contact thru our current mature (hah) adulthood phase!!! Well, Classmates...the Wednesday and Thursday of August 20, 21, 2025 is just for us. Once again, our thoughtful and incredibly generous classmate, Bruce Paddock, has offered to host this beautiful evening gathering at his lovely sprawling home at: 1500 Bracketts Point Rd., Wayzata MN., 55391. There will be no charge to classmates as Bruce will be covering all of the costs with the exception of live music which will be covered by Ron Anderson. There will be an OPTIONAL donation station on site, but this is certainly not required. Our goal is for as many classmates to attend as possible! We have discussed Bruces vision for the day, and it is as follows: Arrive anytime after 1:30....but remember, our boat will be leaving the dock at 2:00, taking us on a splendid narrated tour of Lake Minnetonka complete with snacks and liquid refreshment! We will return to Bruces home at 4:00 at which time we will enjoy 50s, 60s, and 70s music (from 6:00-9:00). Catered dinner and drinks will be served at 7:00!!!!! And the frosting on the cake for we cake eaters: Fireworks over the lake as darkness falls!!!! Just a perfect day!!!! Then....we are in the midst of planning a brunch for August 21st morning at 10:00! It will be held at Upland Estate....previously known as the original Pillsbury country house. This property has been relatively recently purchased by Linda Thoreson Forsbergs son, Erik.....it is about 10 miles as the crow flies from Bruces home ( or so Siri tells me!!!)....if you are curious, check out the website: 4200uplandestate.com There will be a charge for brunch, and we will have those details in a paper mailing that you will be receiving in June! At this time, you will be able to submit your reservations! The committee would also like to request that all classmates keep their contact information current. So please let us know if there has been a change in your email or street address necessitating need for an update! This helps us so much in making sure that we don�t unnecessarily miss people....thank you!!!! SAVE THE DATE 8-20-2025 Greetings classmates! We are blessed.....We are special.....WE ROCK!!!! We are the proud 1965 grads of Duluth East High School and we are planning an incredible get together to celebrate each other and our 60th year since graduation!! Bruce is once again covering all costs, with the exception of live music which will be covered by donations . In June , expect to receive a paper mailing with details, suggestions for accommodations, and a tear- off portion for you to return to us in order to submit your reservation. August 20,2025 Hey Greyhounds from the vintage year of 1965, Some of us cake eaters want to actually eat some cake! Can you believe we are turning 77 or 78 this year. WHAT: A wonderful first class complimentary dinner will be provided for your dining pleasure. WHEN: Wednesday August 2o, 2025 We will meet at 1;30 if you want a boat ride which leaves at 2pm, 4pm for cocktails and visiting, dinner served at about 6:30 pm. WHERE: At Bruce Paddock& home at 1500 Bracketts Point Road, Wayzata MN 55391 This is located on beautiful Lake Minnetonka and can accommodate one hundred or more. We are blessed to have such generous classmates like Bruce to make it a little easier for us to say yes. There are several nearby lodging accommodations.
